Expertise and Experience

Bradly S. Michals, President
Brad has over 25 years of insurance experience. As the president of Michals Insurance Agency, Inc., Brad works closely with individuals and businesses to provide competitive insurance programs, financial planning, and financial services products. Brad is a graduate of The University of Maine, Orono with a degree in Public Management.

In addition to his career in insurance, Brad is an active sports enthusiast. He is a Board Member and Director of Player Personnel for the Worcester Tornadoes, a minor league baseball team. A former Division I hockey goalie, Brad is an active youth hockey and baseball coach at the Belmont Hill School, the Eastern Hockey Federation League, and Newton (MA) Little League.

Susan A. Michals, Vice President of Operations
Susan brings a diverse career experience to her work at Michals Insurance. She has worked in retail management, as an Art Gallery Associate and Director of Sculpture department, and as Executive Assistant to the Dean at Boston University School of Law. In her role as Vice President of Operations at Michals Insurance Agency, Susan seeks to enhance the efficiency and client service practices of the agency. Susan graduated from Boston University, cum laude, with a degree in Art History.

Bernard Michals, Fine Arts Specialist
Bernie has over 40 years of insurance experience. As founder of Bernard Michals Insurance Agency, Inc., Bernie built a thriving business — addressing the unique insurance needs of galleries, collectors, museums and others with significant fine arts assets — which is now part of Michals Insurance Agency, Inc. He is a well-known expert in Fine Arts insurance. A graduate of Union College with a degree in Economics, Bernie is Past Director of MIAA, and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor.
